Timothy, I have an OND! Can I use it to apply for direct entry into Unilag? Which level will I be admitted into if I applied for direct entry into Unilag with my HND certificate?
I have a diploma from so so so and so school, can I use it to apply for direct entry into Unilag?
I do receive the questions above and many more similar ones on daily basis from intending Unilag prospective students hence the reason for this post just to clarify the entrance requirement for direct entry admission into full time undergraduate courses in Unilag .

- Unilag do accepts first degree from other higher institution for direct entry…200Level
- Unilag foundation Programme now known as Unilag Jupeb…200Level
- Unilag do accepts Jupeb results from other approved institutions…200Level
- Cambridge Alevel….200Level
- RN(Registered Nurse) and its equivalent into Nursing Science…..200Level
- HND/OND(Distinction) into the faculty of engineering….200Level/300Level
- HND/OND(Distinction) into the faculty of environmental sciences that is Architecture, Building(accepts upper credit), Urban & Regional Planning, Quantity Surveying & Estate Management….200Level/300Level
You can use any of the qualification above to apply for direct entry into Unilag. All applicants must also fulfill Unilag Olevel requirement for their chosen course.
Note: Mode of entry is via jamb direct entry application form.

What of economics sir?
Five O\Level credit in English, Mathematics, Economics and any two subjects from Arts, Social Science and Science. Commerce is not accepted as a social science subject.
That’s the Olevel requirement for Economics
Bro timothy,i av choose english,maths,econs,commerce as my jamb combination for accounting in unilag! Wat can I do? Wen u said commerce is not accepted.
It’s accepted for accounting and other business admin courses but not for social science courses like Mass Comm, economics or political science.

Mr Tim, I thought you only dealt with Unilag admission stuffs on seeing this, I can say you deal with admission things in general from gce-waec-p.ume etc.I really want to thank you for all you have done. Olevel requirement for architecture; Five O/Level credit in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Fine Arts or Technical Drawing and any one of Economics, Geography, Chemistry or Biology

Unilag foundation, first degree cert(bsc), Cambridge Alevel. They accept any of this.

you dont need jamb for direct entry. and unilag does not conduct exam for direct entry applicants. you only have to apply with your credentials

Unilag accepts distinction and not upper credit for architecture. You can try your luck though

What to make enquiry, am a graduate from Bowen University and presently have a 2nd class upper division in Economics. Also presently running my master program at Unilag Msc Economics.
