Unilag has finally uploaded the 2015/2016 Postgraduate(Masters & Pgd) entrance exam results online and you can now check the result & the corresponding remark. I have already explained in one of my previous post the meaning of the remarks(Recommended, Not Recommended, Stepped Down & Not Set).
I will give you the guide to check the results & remarks and after checking the results you can click…..2015/2016 Unilag Postgraduate Results Analysis and remarks explained to check out more details about the results and remark analysis(i.e the meaning of the remarks)
Below is the straight forward guide to check the results…..
1. Click 2015/2016 Unilag postgraduate Entrance Results
2. Enter your application number and surname(in small letters) as password.
3. After login on, check the top of the page and click on ‘view result’
You result and remark will be displayed. Check and let me know waz up via the comment section below….

I’m a bit pertubed. I just had my result checked and my score is 61.18 with ‘Not Recommended’ as the status.
I put in for Msc Mass Communication (Full Time). I’m actually wondering what the cut off for the department is. I believe that score is good enough to secure one the desired admission.
I pray I make the list eventually. Its my third attempt to study in Unilag.

Hello Mr Timothy. My admission was stepped down. I’ve been to my department the reason given is about interpretation of degree awarded by my school. My school award bachelor of medicine, bachelor of surgery but uses accronmys MBChB whereas Unilag uses MBBS.
I was directed to see sub-dean but I’ve not been able to see since Monday. I then wrote a letter attached with a copy of my transcript and certificate.

I have a friend that applied for IRPM but he had 45 so I adviced him to change to MILR. However, he was told at the dept that he can’t switch. How true is that and which unit handles the change in dept? Or is 45 too low for MILR?
When should we expect the second list to come out. Also, How can I change my middle name in the unilag application portal since it will reflect on the admission letter if my name eventually come out. I made the mistake during registration and couldn’t undo after submitting the application.

Registering my courses I was only able to register the first semester because I could not find a button or command to fill in d second semester. On d site we were required to register both semesters. Stepped down means there is an issue with your application or you are not qualified to apply for that course. Please visit the department for details

In my opinion, numerically, for the MBA (PT) Admission, 52+ is okay, however, another factor might be Job experience and particular Job role. I know someone who made the MBA part time list with approx. 52! God can put you on the lists!

When you get that kinda comment, it means you applied for a course you aren’t qualified to apply for.
What are your credentials?
I saw “Supplementary Recommendation”. Does this mean I have been given an admissiion?
Wait for the list!
No, not yet but it means your name is likely to be on the supplementary list. Always check the list once in a while to see if it has been updated. They might either update the list or release a new one.

My score was 54 and not recommended, but now 57.1 and supplementary recommendation (MSC Econs), I have checked the list again and my name is not there! What does it mean please? It means you might end up in supplementary list. It’s very likely!

I have an information to give also want a clarification on The Clearance process.
1. PLS., WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR M.Sc (PT) CLEARANCE HAVING ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS?
I. Where do I start from (PG or Dept)
ii. What are other necessary things I need to do, before, during and after the clearance.
iii. What is their resumption and closing time for clearance at PG and Dept of Econs? etc
2. Secondly, the information is that I was at the Dept yesterday for Lecture (ECN 826- Monetary Econs) but discovered it was not holding because they are STILL expecting the PG sch to release the Supplementary list first, as CONFIRMED by a Prof. in the Dept of Econs. He also confirmed to me that ECN 810 should hold on Friday, hopefully the list be out by then.
Pls if you have any other update about lectures (M.Sc Econs PT), clearance, etc. kindly reach me via this platform or (08059564949- if urgent)
