Unilag Undergraduate Admission Without Utme/Post Utme Is Possible

You should have heard of Unilag foundation Programme or Unilag Diploma Programme. An alternative way to avoid UTME & Post UTME and still end up as an undergraduate in Unilag.
I have written about this Programme couple of times. This post is just a reminder and should in case you are interested in getting the application form then get ready. It’s just a year Programme after which you can use the result to Apply via Direct entry straight into 200L.

Pls sir , is the diploma program only for UnilAg applicants? Or can other applicants from other choice institution apply? Like me, my first choice is UNN. Can I apply for the diploma ? Pls sir reply BC am interested.
Anybody can apply for Unilag diploma. It has no business with the school you chose in Utme.
So, you too can apply for the Programme.

As an NCE holder that studied political science/ social studies i am
faced with the predicament of what course UNILAG can offer me as a
direct entry candidate this year.The jamb brochure online contradict
itself and i don’t want to have to buy direct entry form and forfeit
admission because i did not apply for the right requirement, initially
i want to study early childhood education.
Please help me in order to know if my NCE course will allow me study
in UNILAG this year and if there is any suggestion i will really

You can use your NCE course to apply for courses under social sciences. Just make sure you also meet the Olevel requirement. You are good to go for history education. You can drop your Olevel subjects for confirmations.
Plz sir. Do unilag offer Architecture for Diploma? And how much is it?
Unilag offers all courses. I stated that in the post above
I learnt out Unilag don’t give admissions to those who go for the foundation /diploma programme; I heard it’s just a waste of time and money. Pls I want you to shed more light into this cos I have a younger brother that wishes to study at Unilag. Thanks
That’s a big lie! Infact they do give admission to Unilag diploma students more than those applying with any other results for direct entry.

Yes, Unilag offers diploma for all of its courses including Law
Sir I want to know if there is any difference between the foundation Program students and the normal Post utme students

No difference. Foundation Programme students will be merged together with the post Utme students in 200level.

Hi sir,I heard its a waste of time doing unilag foundation programme because at the end of it only few/lucky people get admitted even when a lot of people pass the examination.Please how true is that?

Good day Sir,, information is power they say, pls I will like to be informed of the necessary steps to take to ensure my gaining admission to unilag for the next academic year through Direct Entry (DE). I have a Higher National Diploma in Architecture and a postgraduate diploma in building with which I have worked since completion of NYSC. But still want to go back to architecture at B.sc and Masters level. I will be greatful if I could get quick good response that will help my decision making.

If your HND cert is distinction then you can give architecture a shot at. Anything less than that, I will advise you to look for another school.
