Screening and Registration Procedures For 2017/2018 Unilag Postgraduate(Masters & PGD) Students On Merit List
Unilag has released the screening and registration procedure for all those on 2017/2018 Postgraduate Admission List and below is the full details. Note that before going through the guide below, you must have seen your name on the admission list.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR FRESH POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS 2017/2018 ACADEMIC SESSION
Note: Unilag did not specify when the registration will close and I guess this because of the ongoing strike. Just follow the instruction in the post below for now if you already found your name on the Admission list
1. Click on this ‘Current Students‘ link here or on the School of Postgraduate Studies home page
2. Login with your Application No as Matric No and your Surname in lowercase as your password. (You will be prompted to change your password upon successful login)
3. Update Biodata, Print Payment Advice, Biodata Form, Acceptance and Admission Letter
4. Make payment online or at any commercial bank in Nigeria (please ensure you present your printed payment advice containing your Remita RRR number for bank branch payment). You can also make payment in any of the banks in school or make payment online via your portal after login and following step 1-3 above.
Kindly also note the following
(i) Instalment payment is only for part-time programmes
(ii) Students must pay both Obligatory and Tuition Fees before they can Register Online
5. Get details of courses to be registered from your department
6. Print four (4) copies of course registration form
7. The course forms need to be signed by the candidate, Head of Department, Bursar and School of Postgraduate Studies in that order.
8. Come to School of Postgraduate Studies and pick Prospectus for a fee #5,000 (Compulsory).
9. Proceed to Jelili Omotola Hall C for Screening. The School of Postgraduate Studies is the final stage of the registration process.

Good Morning Mr. Tim, As stated on the post in No. 3 “Update Biodata, Print Payment Advice, Biodata Form, Acceptance and Admission Letter. I have been trying to print the Acceptance but shows that I must pay the acceptance fee first. How will I generate the payment advise for the acceptance fee and will all the 61k compulsory charges be paid at once?
Yes all the Acceptance fees of 61k needs to be paid first…..generate the pay advice and pay in any of the banks in school or online payment via the portal

I followed the link you posted for payment and registration for Masters programme, I updated my bio-data then proceeded to make payment.
It generated 2 payments but i could not view the payment advice to proceed to the next stage. Am stranded at this point. Please help or advice accordingly.

Mr. Tim, I have been able to generate payment advice this morning and there is a remita number on the advice. My questions is; Are we going to pay the Acceptance separately because the two charges, 62k and Tuition fee are on the same invoice?

Dear All, I made payment for Obligation fee and school fees. I was able to print receipt for school fees but seen nothing for Obligation fees. Hence, could not fill my Acceptance Letter as the portal still asked me to pay Acceptance fee first. What next?
How much did you pay? If you paid 61,500 then you need to pay another 500 naira to complete the 62000 naira.
Morning Mr. Tim, I.made paymet of 62k and fees of 120k for Transportation Planning and Management and was asked to pay PG obligation fee of 2,500 which I did before I was able to submit my medical form. Can you advise of where to get my courses for registration for the first semester?

I was able to apply for instalment payments and generated my pay advice, but my Obligatory fee is showimg 64,500. I have my RRR number and redirected to the remitta portal to make payment. I am yet to make he payment as I need to clear if I am good to go. Then are we to print all evidences in colour for registration based on the notice you scanned and posted on your blog. I am an MBA prospect and you helped with my application then. Waiting for your reply.

You are really do a wonderful job. My payment advice shows 64,500 for Obligatory fee and 225,000 tuition fee for MBA part time. Is the 225,000 for the 2 sessions? Also, the obligatory payment total is 62,000 but the advice is showing 64,500. Should I just pay the correct amount of 62,000?

The new fees for acceptance is 64.5k
The 225k is for the first sesssion…you will pay another during the second session
Good evening Mr Timothy. I generated payment advice twice, the first obligatory fees was 62k now it’s 64.5k, which should I use between the two. Again, about the hostel accommodation, is the fee for a session ND will occupants be sent off with immediate effect at the end of the session. Thanks in advance
About the acceptance fee it’s now 64.5k….Hostel accommodation is by Balloting every session
There were no additions to the amount section. Just wondering how the school came about the additional 2.5k (64.5k-62k) on the obligatory fees.
