Below is the text/email message sent out to individuals that apply for certain courses that wont be writing any entrance exam.

if you got the message above just know that there is no more entrance exam for you but your application would be looked at and determine if you are qualified or recommended for admission or not. If you are successful you will be sent a message to inform you of your success and the next step involved in your clearance or screening procedure as a bonafide student of unilag postgraduate school. No more no less.

Note: Please even if you didnt personally get the notice above from unilag, it doesn’t really mean anything. It still applies to you as an applicant. The message applies to everyone that applied.

Messages will be communicated to all successful students in the coming days. Updates will also be posted here accordingly and you will get it if you are a subscriber to this blog.

Implications Of Cancellation Of The Entrance Exam; Well! From personal experience i think the admission excercise will now be tougher than ever before because certainly not every students that applied will be given admission due to not enough space and now that there is no more enterance exam, how would they determine who gets the admission and who don’t. hmmm 🤔

You will remember that the application form sold from February to September, Thats for good eight months oh, and i heard from reliable sources that thousands of forms went out more than ever that was sold in the previous years.. I can imagine why Unilag cancels the entrance exam, could it be probably due to too many candidate to conduct exams for 🤔

Few departments such as Maths/statistics were invited by their department for interviews though.

My Best Advice To You All Right Now On What You Need To Do To Secure Your Admission; Admission process is already ongoing and hopefully admission list will be released soon since there is no more entrance exam. If you have anyone in school, helping you to follow up on your admission you can reach out to them now to see how far…If there is any changes that needs to be done on your application for you to stand a chance of getting admitted he will follow through for you, if possible ask them to review your downloaded application form and see if everything is okay and if there is any help available for you just to make sure Unilag is okay with your application so you dont end up been disqualified or Gets Not Recommended on your admission status…

I have had to help many reopen their applications forms and help correct certain things in order for them not to be disqualified. Many filled the form wrongly on their own.

The Criteria for admission is not made public for now, so its important that you make sure your form is filled the right way according to Unilag standard.
