The 2025/2026 Unilag postgraduate admission is on the way, the entrance exam already written and now candidates are awaiting the outcome of the exam and admission into the various programmes to be published.

Many are wondering what next to expect, the entrance exam results or the admission list itself. From experience Unilag is likely not to release the scores to the general public but they might likely release what we called; Admission Remarks; Recommended, Not Recommended, Stepped Down, Not Qualified etc.

As an applicant when you see recommended on your portal then you can be sure that you already secured the admission. When you see not recommended; it means admission might not yet be secured but it can still change to recommended later if you do the needful like follow ups depending on the department you applied into.

As an applicant you should pray and do all you can to get into the Recommended List thats where your admission is secured.

What Can You Do To Brighten Your Chances Of Being Recommended/Securing The Admission ?

Firstly; Make sure you are qualified for the course your applied for; Did you go through the requirements for the course you applied for before filling your form ? This is where we mostly comes in during application. Most of our followers that we handled their application earlier, we made sure they are qualified for the course they applied for by cross checking the requirements before final submission.

Secondly; Follow ups matters; Do you have anyone following up for you giving you first hand info and guide on what and what you should do to secure your admission, leading you all the way to success. Some department still runs their own interview and short test even after the general entrance exam is conducted. If you dont follow up, you might not know.

I know some people that missed the entrance exam because they dont have anyone following up for them.
